Millwood Chapel
This historic building (formerly the Ohoka Methodist Church, circa 1865) has been carefully restored and now a private residence as well as the perfect venue for your
wedding day ceremony.
The chapel is available for religious or non-religious ceremonies with a minister or celebrant of your choice. The chapel seats 75, but can accommodate 100 guests with some standing. You have the option of live musicians or choice of CD's.
After the wedding ceremony, the garden is an ideal location to mingle with your wedding guests with the option of drinks and canapés served by Millwood staff. The perfect location for the family and friends photographs.
Millwood can offer an alternative to the traditional evening reception by providing another option of serving an 'English style afternoon tea' in the gardens. A considerable cost saving compared with the traditional wedding reception. We can work with you to make this a very special occasion.
Millwood can also give you a 'no-obligation quote' for all your wedding floral requirements, from wedding bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, wedding reception decorating and petals.
To complete your magical wedding at Millwood Weddings, we can provide the romantic petal shower as you leave.
